- Please read the FAQ before contacting us. If you have a question that requires a response, then email the above email address. If you have a general comment or feature, please put it on the social page. You're likely to get a response no matter where you contact us, but the social page is preferred as it lets the entire community participate.
- Planning and Development
- We're not focused on adding a lot of features - instead we focus on 2 paths. Data input and data output. For input we are working on automating input from popular watches, heart rate monitors, GPS hardware, and other equipment. For output we will be improving the charts and data visualization, and give it to you on as many platforms as possible.
- Who made this?
- Voomaxer is owned and operated by 2 programmers (Jonathan and Sean) who want to provide awesome software for tracking exercise and health. We live in Chicago, and San Francisco, respectively. Read more at our about page.

- FAQ
-
- How can I help Voomaxer?
- Since Voomaxer is a social application, every friend that uses the application creates more value for you, and subsequently more value for us. The best way to help Voomaxer is to get your friends to use it. Additionally, we are cognizant of the fact that today's youth rarely take time to contact support of a web app. If you have a problem with Voomaxer, or a feature request - please contact us using one of the preferred mediums. We need feedback to get better.
- What is the "dot com" version?
- Voomaxer was first developed as a Facebook application, but since the beginning we have had a version of it available from Voomaxer.com. We are still working on it, so we don't advertise it but we have it available for people who want to access Voomaxer without logging into Facebook. That said, you can also log in to Voomaxer.com with your Facebook account by clicking on the Facebook logo.
- When does my Facebook profile get updated?
- If you are using the Voomaxer Facebook application or the dot com version (if you logged in with the Facebook button), your Facebook mini-feed and chart will update after you create a new log. Sometimes we deploy an update to Voomaxer that breaks the minifeed updates. If this happens, please report it to us and we'll look into it. Once we fix it, mini-feed updates of the logs you created while Voomaxer wasn't working will not be posted (all forthcoming updates will), and your chart will be brought up to date.
- Do you have an API?
- An API is a programming interface that allows computer programmers to write software to interface with Voomaxer. It should have the result of making the data a lot more portable - which is good for the users. We do have a REST API, but as of fall 2008 we are still testing it. We want to finalize as much as possible before we release it. If any programmers using Voomaxer have any input or want to help, please contact us.
